U and T visa certifications

Our city certifies applications for U and T visas. You need to submit your request to one of three departments: Police, City Attorney, or Civil Rights.

Access to police services

  • For emergencies, call 911. TTY users can call 911 directly. Text-to-911 is available in Minneapolis.
  • For non-emergencies and help in alternative formats, contact 311.
  • People who are deaf or hard of hearing can use the relay service, TTY: 612-263-6850.
   

We ensure that deaf and hard-of-hearing people have full and equal use of our services. We provide auxiliary aids and services at no cost.
