More music is coming to Minneapolis

The City has invested $500,000 from the Small Business Resiliency Fund to bring more live music, performances, and community events to commercial districts this summer and fall.

The funding supports fee-free events and music and venue activations in commercial districts. It also creates more opportunities for musicians, live venues and independent promoters.

Join us for Mile of Music on Aug. 19

Get ready for an afternoon of free live music across Minneapolis. More than 25 cafés, restaurants, patios and public spaces will feature a wide range of music across three areas of the city:

• St. Anthony Main
• Nicollet Mall
• Eat Street

More live music and entertainment will be featured at Family Night Out. Dates and details will be announced soon.
