You can apply for a free tree from the City if you live in Minneapolis.
What to know
Minneapolis residents can request free trees to be planted in their yard.
Submitting a request for trees does not guarantee you will be selected. Priority is given to low tree canopy areas. Trees are planted each spring and fall.
