About
The Upper Harbor Redevelopment is:
- A large site on the Mississippi River owned by the City of Minneapolis.
- A partnership between the City of Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB).
- A once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a large-scale community-building asset in North Minneapolis.
- An extension of the McKinley neighborhood that reconnects north Minneapolis to the riverfront. The first phase of the development includes:
- MPRB’s new riverfront regional park
- An outdoor amphitheater known as the Community Performing Arts Center
- Mixed-use affordable housing.
