The City of Minneapolis has released an updated impact assessment documenting nearly $700 million in estimated costs and increased needs caused by Operation Metro Surge.
The assessment covers impacts from December 2025 through April 2026 and shows widespread harm to residents, workers, businesses, students, neighborhoods and City operations.
The City will use the updated assessment to help guide recovery efforts and continued investments in affected residents, businesses and neighborhoods.
