How to use the dashboard

View the data

For best results:

  • View the dashboard in full screen.
  • Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox as your browser.

Read the data

  • If you have submitted a police misconduct complaint, you will have received a letter with a case number.
  • Enter the case number from your letter into the search to view your:
    • Case status
    • The investigator assigned to your case
    • A contact number for the investigator

If the field is blank

The investigator field may be blank for one of many reasons:

  • The case is still in intake.
  • An investigator has not yet been assigned.
  • The case is now closed.

Terms to know

  • Open: Case is still being reviewed by the investigating unit.
  • Closed – No Discipline: Case was resolved without going through the full discipline process.
  • Closed – Final Discipline: Case has been resolved and resulted in discipline being imposed by the Chief of Police, and all appeals have ended.
