Police public service counter
You can request police data in person at the police service counter.
What you can get at the service counter
We can complete the following in person requests:
- A copy of an accident report
- You will need a valid ID and authorization.
- Certified report for specific offenses
- A police report stamped by authorized staff to verify the authenticity of the report.
- Clearance letter
- You will need a valid ID.
- Closed reports for specific offenses
- Public information reports
What you cannot get at the service counter
We cannot complete the following at the service counter:
- Calls for service to an address
- Closed reports for offenses investigated by criminal investigators
- This does not include property crimes.
- Media requests for:
- Body worn camera
- Photos
- Street camera
- Squad video
- Reports containing protected identities
- Reports taken by another City department, including:
- 911
- Animal Control
- Fire
