These are the items you need to include in your application:

  • Eligible utility boxes
  • Eligible permit holder
  • Community support
  • Maintenance plan and budget
  • Removal plan and budget
  • Temperatures above 55 degrees
  • General liability insurance

Steps to apply for a pre-approved utility box art project

  • These public art projects have three approvals. 
  • The second application is pre-approved art wrap application.
Approval number Application name Purpose
1 Eligibility Request This approval determines if your proposed site or utility box is eligible for public art.  
2 Pre-Approved Art Wrap Application Once this application is approved, your utility art wrap project is ready for the final step.
3 Final permits and paperwork This is the final approval. Once the documents in this application are approved you can start your art installation.
