First determine where to report the pothole
The state, county or City may maintain the road in Minneapolis. The signs will help you understand who's responsible for a road.
If a road has signs that look like these, the State of Minnesota is responsible.

Report a pothole for a state highway or freeway
If a road has signs that look like this, Hennepin County is responsible.

Report a pothole for a county road
Report a pothole on a City street
Roads with potholes to report to us:
- All other roads without state or county signs
- County roads in the downtown area
- City streets called State Trunk Highways
You must provide an email address. We'll email you with a case number and expected completion date.
