Project overview

Hennepin-Lyndale is a key transit corridor. It provides an important connection between Uptown and downtown Minneapolis.

About 3,000 riders pass through this corridor every weekday on Route 4 and Route 6. The METRO E Line is scheduled to begin service in 2025, anticipating an increase in trips by 55%.

Bus lanes help the City make progress towards its mode shift goal and climate goals.
