Project overview

The project will connect several parks and schools. It will also serve as a low-stress corridor for people to walk, bike, and roll. Types of improvements may include: 

  • ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades
  • Traffic calming
  • Low-stress bikeway
  • Bump outs and medians
  • Improved crossings
  • New signage and pavement markings 

 The project will connect:

  • Parks
  • Schools
  • Local businesses
  • Other community destinations

 

Project purpose

The following are goals of the project:
  • Improve safety for walking, biking, and rolling
  • Make it easier to cross at intersections
  • Calm traffic and discourage unsafe driving
  • Create a safe and comfortable bicycle route that connects to parks and schools
