As a welcoming city, we host annual events for Welcoming Week.

Litter pick up on Lake Street

Start Welcoming Week 2026 by giving back. Join these monthly litter pick ups on Lake Street with the City of Minneapolis.

Workplace Rights Week

The State of Minnesota will teach workers and employers about their rights. The City of Minneapolis will also take part. Workshops are online in English and Spanish.
