Transportation Action Plan

The Transportation Action Plan (TAP) is a 10-year plan for transportation in Minneapolis. We use the TAP as primary guidance on future transportation project:

  • Planning
  • Design
  • Implementation

The TAP supports the City's goals related to:

  • climate
  • safety
  • mobility and other goals

to create more travel options for more people by the year 2030.

Transportation studies

We study many topics that support existing transportation plans. Some studies explore new concepts or trends that are not addressed in our plans.

They help us make informed decisions related to planning and policy.
