Crimes Against Children

  • We investigate: 
    • Crimes of abuse, neglect, endangerment, maltreatment of children
    • Deprivation of parental rights
    • Intra-familial sexual abuse
  • We work to break patterns of abuse and mistreatment, and connect children to valuable social services

Domestic Assault

We work to:

  • Reduce domestic violence
  • Help strengthen families within the city
  • Hold people accountable for domestic assault

Sex Crimes

We are responsible for:

  • Investigating sex crimes that include, but limited to:
    • Rape
    • Molestation
    • Indecent conduct
    • Stalking
  • Working with victims and social service agencies to support a victim-centered approach
  • Predatory offender compliance

Juvenile Investigations

We investigate cases where the offender is under the age of 18, including:

  • Assault
  • Domestic assault
  • Missing person
  • Robbery

Our unit maintains files on runaway and missing juveniles.

We also provide processing services.

  • We work with:
    • Local Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force investigating federal narcotics cases
