Bag and put in your garbage cart.

More information:

Foam is made of #6 (PS) plastic. No foam of any kind: egg cartons, cups, plates, peanuts, or other #6 plastics is able to be recycled. 

Fun fact:

Polystyrene (#6) plastic has very weak to non-existing markets.

What to do:
What to do: Donate if usable. If not usable, set this item next to your carts out by 6 a.m. on your recycling day. Concrete must be removed and pieces need to be cut to sections no longer than 6 feet to be picked up. Please label "for Solid Waste". There is a limit of 2 large items per week.

Disposal method: Recycle, Organics

What to do:

Remove plastic that keeps the top of the box from touching the pizza and put it in the garbage. If there is only a little bit of oil or grease, the pizza box can be recycled. If there is a lot of oil and grease, the pizza box should be put in your organics recycling cart. 

More information:

Pizza boxes should be recycled if they can be. Paper can be recycled up to seven times. The paper in a pizza box has another life left as a piece of paper.
