Bring to a retail location that accepts ink cartridges for recycling or bag and put in your garbage cart.

Check for refill kits available at office supply stores or large retail stores.

You could also keep it in a box with other small electronic or metal items. When the box is full, set it next to your recycling cart by 6 a.m. on your recycling day. Label the box "For Solid Waste". The crew will write your item on a list. A separate truck will come the next business day to pick it up for recycling.

Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries can cause fires. They are used in many common items like

• electronic greeting cards and toys
• cellphones, smart watches and laptops
• power tools and electric lawn equipment
• e-bikes and electric vehicles

Fires can and do occur in collection vehicles and at waste and recycling facilities. Properly manage batteries to prevent injuries and destruction to vehicles and facilities.

Contact a local community group or post that you have a pool table available on local social media. Your friends and neighbors may have interest in reusing it.
