Disposal method: Garbage

Donate if usable. If not usable, bag and put in your garbage cart.

Some garden centers and nurseries accept garden pots for reuse or recycling. Check with your local garden center or nursery to see if they accept garden pots or trays.

Plastic cork must be thrown in the garbage. Natural cork is compostable. If you are unsure if it's natural or plastic cork, bag and put it in the garbage.

Donate usable clothing, linens, shoes and other textiles to thrift stores or post on social media exchange sites.

Non-usable items should be bagged and put in your garbage cart.

It is not known if textiles are actually being recycled. Until we have proof they are, it is best to repurpose or throw away non-wearable textiles. This includes things like clothing, linens, and other items are stained or are completely worn through. If there is only a small hole or missing button, something that can be easily repaired, mend the item.

Blueprint paper is not recyclable or compostable due to the amount of dye in the paper.

Disposal method: Large non-recyclable item pick up, Drop-off

Item will be picked up by the garbage truck. You may also bring this item to the South Transfer Station with a voucher.
