What to do:
If unable to reuse or donate, put in your recycling cart.
Cards printed on photo paper or cards with foil, glitter, ribbons, etc. are not recyclable and should be put in the garbage.

Remember to remove the battery from cards that light up or make noise. Recycle batteries by bringing them to a Hennepin County Drop-off facility. If you cannot remove the battery, bring the whole card to a drop-off location for recycling.
Fun fact:
Tear off the fronts of cards to reuse them as postcards. Or donate to a local organization that reuses greeting cards to make new ones.
