Disposal method: Yard waste
What to do:
Properly prepare for collection with yard waste. Brush, branches and prunings must be less than 3 inches in diameter and less than 3 feet long. They need to be put in a reusable container, an accepted bag or bundled with twine or rope. All containers, bags or bundles must weigh less than 40 pounds. Yard waste season starts in April and ends in November. Larger items need to be brought to a drop-off site.

Yard waste is not accepted in any City-provided cart. You cannot bring yard waste to the South Transfer Station. It is illegal to put yard waste in the garbage in Minnesota.
