Unofficial results are in for Minneapolis election

Tabulation is now complete for yesterday’s municipal election. The unofficial results for all races and all questions can be found on the Elections & Voter Services website.

Unofficial winners declared

Elections & Voter Services is declaring unofficial winners in the following races:

  • Mayor: Jacob Frey
  • City Council Ward 1: Elliott Payne
  • City Council Ward 2: Robin Wonsley Worlobah
  • City Council Ward 3: Michael Rainville
  • City Council Ward 4: LaTrisha Vetaw
  • City Council Ward 5: Jeremiah Ellison
  • City Council Ward 6: Jamal Osman
  • City Council Ward 7: Lisa Goodman
  • City Council Ward 8: Andrea Jenkins
  • City Council Ward 9: Jason Chavez
  • City Council Ward 10: Aisha Chughta
  • City Council Ward 11: Emily Koski
  • City Council Ward 12: Andrew Johnson

  • Question 3: Passed

Certifying final results

Now that all unofficial results have been reported, the City Council, sitting as the Municipal Canvassing Board, will receive the final tallies at its meeting scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12. At that meeting, the Canvassing Board will certify final results, at which point they become the official results in the 2021 Municipal Election.
