Farview South residential area ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades and resurfacing

This project is part of the on-going street maintenance program.
ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades
City staff upgraded all pedestrian ramps to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards in 2025.
Resurfacing
City staff will resurface the streets in this area in spring of 2026. We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street. The new pavement should last at least 10 years.
Schedule
- Select curb and gutter replacement began the week of March 30, 2026
- The project team held a virtual informational meeting on March 23, 2026.
- ADA Pedestrian Ramp upgrades completed in 2025.
- Mill and overlay work began the week of May 11, 2026.
Traffic impacts
The road will be closed to traffic during milling and paving work for periods of time. Roads will remain open during the evenings and nights.
