Project overview

We will add curb protection to the existing flex‑post bikeway on 40th Street between Dupont Ave and Stevens Ave in the East Harriet and Kingfield neighborhoods. This will help connect the traffic-separated bikeway network. 40th Street is part of the All Ages and Abilities Bikeway Network.

This project only adds new concrete curb within the space of the current bikeway. The work will include:

• New bikeway curb 
• Other needed supporting features

Project purpose

This project will improve the All Ages and Abilities Bikeway Network. It adds a curb to the bikeway on 40th Street. The curb will give people biking more protection from cars and make the street look nicer.
