Program announcement

• Each January, we open applications for internships for the coming summer .

When the window opens, submit your application

• Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements

Watch for a postcard and email from us by Mar. 10

• This is how you will find out if you've been accepted into the program

March - April

Students accepted will get an email with instructions to login to the portal

• You must complete orientation to be eligible for a paid Step Up experience.
• Orientation will be in person.

Option to apply for Step Up Pro

• If you are age 16-21, you may choose to apply for Step Up Pro.
• You will be required to watch an online orientation video
• You will learn about the steps to apply for Step Up Pro.

May - June

• If you are matched with a paid internship, you will need to complete additional preparation steps. 
  • Summer internships run from mid-June to mid-August.
• If you are not matched with a paid internship, you can participate in our online Career Exploration Program. 
  • This is a 5-week paid online experience.
  • You can earn up to $599 and elective high school academic credits.
