What we do
Our team of environmental health professionals:
- Plans, directs and coordinates many of the City's environmental programs
- Educates residents about the connection between their health and their environment, including the:
- Air we breathe
- Water we drink
- Soil in our yards, gardens and community spaces
- Buildings where we live, work and play
- Changing climate
- Ensures environmental justice and equity by:
- Engaging diverse people who reflect the population of our city
- Listening to and supporting people in our most vulnerable communities
