Apply for media access to the Minneapolis City Hall Press Workroom.
What to know
The Legislative Department runs the Press Workroom for media covering City Council. It's a space where journalists can watch the meeting and work. It is next to Council Chambers in Room 382.
Journalists from newspapers, TV, radio, or other news organizations can use this form to apply to use the room.
The room is available Monday through Friday during normal business hours. It will be available starting 30 minutes before City Council meetings.
Once approved, we will give you an access code for the room.
