There is no waiting period, but the new owner must complete all other steps.

When an owner files the application, there will also be a reinstatement fee:
The owner must fill out and send this form before the City reinstates a license.
The property must either:
Within one year of reapplication, the owner or manager must attend a rental property owner workshop.
When all other steps are complete, the City Council will consider reinstating your license. You cannot rent the property until we issue the new license. If the Council approves, Finance & Commerce publishes the reinstatement, and you'll be notified.
After Finance & Commerce publishes the reinstatement, the owner must submit the license application and fees.
