Definition

  • Dry cleaner: Cleaning and dying of clothing with chemicals other than water.
  • Laundry: A place to wash or clean clothing, including:
    • Self-service laundries
    • Launderettes
    • Laundromats
  • Pick-up station: A business that accepts clothing to launder, dry clean, dye or iron for a fee. Pick-up stations do not need a license.
  • If a business provides both laundry and dry cleaning services, you only need a dry cleaning license.
