ADA pedestrian ramp updates

Pedestrian ramps were upgraded in 2024 to current ADA standards.

Resurfacing

City staff will resurface Saint Anthony Pkwy between Central Ave NE and Hayes St. NE in 2025. 

City Staff resurfaced Saint Anthony Pkwy between Hayes St. NE and Stinson Pkwy in 2024.

We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street.  The new pavement should last at least 10 years.

Work schedule

• Resurfacing work began Monday, June 2nd, 2025 on the road between Johnson St NE and Central Ave NE.  This work is expected to take approximately 5 weeks.
• Resurfacing work began Monday, May 5th, 2025 on the road between Hayes St NE and Johnson St NE.
• Staff held an in-person community meeting on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025.  

Traffic impacts

The parkway between Johnson St NE and Central Ave NE is closed to all traffic. Traffic is detoured to 29th Ave NE. This closure will remain in place until the project is completed.
