Interview and selection

Invitation to interview

  • After we review the applications, we will send some applicants an invitation to interview.
  • If you receive an invitation, it will be for a specific site placement — working for a specific employer.
  • We interview two to three candidates for each available placement.
  • Being offered an interview does not guarantee placement.

Selecting who we interview

Our candidate selection committee will only invite applicants who:

  • Meet our eligibility requirements
  • Demonstrate program competencies in the application essay

Interviews

  • You will be interviewed by our site coordinator for a specific employer.
  • The interviewer will ask questions about your professional interests and job skills.

We make offers to candidates in mid-April.
