How it works
- Attend an informational session
- Met the applicant requirements
- Pass the physical exam
- Complete and submit your application
- Receive notification of your acceptance
- Attend, in-person, all classes
- Take the EMT certification test
Applicant requirements
Interested applicants must meet all of these requirements:
- Be 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Be able to attend a daytime 12-week course
Hiring process
- Screening session 1: pre-selection testing and intake
- Screening session 2: panel interviews and physical agility exam
- Selected candidates undergo pre-employment background check
Class dates and times
- Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Classes start March 2, 2026
