The City of Minneapolis plans to improve 0.98 miles of 16th Ave N between Queen Ave N and Aldrich Ave N. This project will increase safety for walking and biking in this area. This is a Safe Routes to School project.

  • Improve safety for the most vulnerable users of the street
  • Connect three schools and three parks
  • Address safety on a documented crash concentration corridor
  • Fulfill City goals for
    • Complete Streets
    • Vision Zero
    • All ages and abilities bikeways
    • transportation equity measures
