0% APR Energy Efficiency Loan

About the program

They provide 0% APR loans up to $20,000 and 10 years for home energy-efficiency upgrades.

Eligible applicants 

  • One- to four-unit owner occupied properties in Minneapolis
  • Household income under 150% Area Median Income
  • Qualifying income under $161,500
  • Minimum credit score of 620

Eligible projects

  • Attic, wall and rim joist insulation
  • Air source heat pumps
  • Heat pump electric water heaters
  • Gas furnaces and boilers paired with an air source heat pump
  • Triple pane windows replacing single pane windows
  • Efficiency-related health and safety upgrades
