Traffic calming supports the City's commitment to Vision Zero. Vision Zero is a national movement to end deaths and severe injuries on our streets.

Traffic calming treatment pilot

We are exploring ways to use traffic calming on certain qualified streets. We install traffic calming treatments at intersections or mid-block. We are preparing to install the first round of islands by the end of fall 2025.
