We provide custom-built portable drinking fountains that connect directly to one of the following:
- A fire hydrant
- A nearby building’s water supply

You can apply to get a portable water fountain for your outdoor event.
What to know
Eligibility
- Your event must take place between April 15 and October 15.
- We do not install fountains at events on Memorial Day weekend, Juneteenth, Juneteenth weekend, Independence Day, Independence Day weekend, or Labor Day.
- We only install fountains at events within the Minneapolis city limits.

It takes up to 21 business days to review your Tap Minneapolis Water Fountain permit application.
