Folwell East and Northwest Residential resurfacing
The City will remove and add a new layer of asphalt on the streets in the Folwell East and Northwest areas.
Project overview
In 2023, City staff will resurface the streets in this area. We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street. The new pavement should last at least 10 years.
ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades
We will also be upgrading all existing street corners to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This work will be completed prior to the resurfacing process.
Traffic impacts
Blocks will be intermittently closed to traffic during asphalt milling and paving for brief periods of time.

Upcoming public meeting
A public meeting will be held on Feb. 8, 2023, to provide an overview of the project and discuss questions and concerns with residents.
