Upper Harbor Redevelopment

We're reconnecting North Minneapolis to the riverfront with new places to work and live, a 20-acre park and a community performing arts center.

About

The Upper Harbor Redevelopment is:

  • A partnership initiative between the City of Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board
  • A once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a large-scale, public-owned, community-building asset in North Minneapolis
  • Grounded in a restorative approach toward racial justice
  • Focused on meeting the needs, aspirations and priorities of nearby residents
