Beyond the grant: Sustainable financing

In this training you will:

  • Gain a better understanding of your value proposition, including its key components, and how it can guide your work.
  • Explore a value sequence. A value sequence is a framework that identifies:
    • Key activities
    • The results and impacts of those activities
    • The value created, whether financial, social/ economic, or organizational value

Neurobiology, Epigenetics, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Resilience research (NEAR)

 

In this training you will learn how NEAR Science:

  • Examines how childhood trauma affects biology and behavior
  • Effects can lead to long-term health and social issues

Each month, there will is an optional one-hour online session to go along with the Public Health Community Institute trainings.

These sessions focus on topics for new leaders and team members like:

  • Leadership and team building
  • Self-care
  • Setting boundaries
  • Other important skills

You'll learn helpful tips and tools you can:

  • Use right away
  • Meet other leaders
  • Find support for the challenging work you do

These are supplementary sessions and do not count towards the required sessions to apply for funding.
