Minneapolis Tree Ambassadors

Tree Ambassadors engage with people in their neighborhood to raise awareness about tree planting opportunities.

Overview

City Trees is recruiting five to ten residents to become Tree Ambassadors as part of a new pilot program. Ambassadors will identify locations to plant 50 trees on private property in their neighborhood from April to August. They support planting more trees in areas that need it the most.

Ambassadors will:

  • Commit to 40 to 50 hours from April through August
  • Receive a stipend of $2,000

Applications will be open Jan. 15 to Feb. 28
