Private property signage

Download signs, posters, and window decals to identify non-public areas that restrict staging for civil immigration enforcement activities.

What to know

The City has created signs, posters, stickers and window decals that private property owners and leaseholders can use, if they so choose, to identify non-public areas in which they wish to lawfully restrict activities related to staging for civil immigration enforcement.

Important to note

While the City is providing the designs, printing is the responsibility of property owners and leaseholders.

If you use this signage, you are doing so at your own discretion and assume any associated legal risks.

Background

On Dec. 3, Mayor Frey signed an Executive Order prohibiting staging for civil immigration enforcement activities on any City-owned parking lots, ramps, garages, or vacant lots.

The mayor's order follows recent credible media reports outlining the Trump administration's plans to target Somali immigrants in the Twin Cities. Visit the City's federal response webpage for more information
