What our divisions do

Fleet Services

We're responsible for the vehicle supply in the City.

Solid Waste & Recycling

We collect garbage, recycling, food scraps, yard waste and large items.

Surface Waters & Sewers

We maintain the storm water and sanitary sewers systems.

Traffic & Parking Services

We manage and maintain traffic signs, signals, lane striping and streetlights.

Transportation Engineering & Design

We design and manage transportation-related projects.

Transportation Maintenance & Repair

We complete street and sidewalk repairs and plow the streets.

Transportation Planning & Programming

We oversee traffic planning with a focus on alternate ways to get around.

Water Treatment & Distribution Services

We treat, distribute and maintain water for Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
