Police misconduct complaints investigated

What we do

The Minneapolis Office of Police Conduct Review (OPCR) investigates complaints from the public about police misconduct. We are responsible for investigating officers in the Minneapolis Police Department.

What we do not investigate

Our jurisdiction does not include law enforcement officials from:

  • Hennepin County Sheriff's Office
  • Metro Transit Police
  • University of Minnesota Police
  • Officers working for other cities

Community Commission on Police Oversight

CCPO oversees the Community Commission on Police Oversight.
