The City does not promise that the information is perfect or without mistakes. The City and its workers are not responsible for any problems or losses caused by using this information, even if they were warned it could happen.

These Standard Specifications and Plates are extra information. They do not replace specific project plans or special rules. A contractor still must follow everything in their contract if they are doing work for:

• The City
• Another agency
• A private developer in Minneapolis

Using this information does not take away their duty for their work. They can’t ask for extra money if something goes wrong because they used this information.

Contractors must check and confirm that the information is correct themselves.
