Neighborhood funding application process

We explain how and when neighborhood organizations can apply for money from the City.

2025 timeline

Aug. 15

Application is open

Application for neighborhood funding is live on the website. Organizations will be expected to work on their City Neighborhood Network Fund (CNNF) application, equitable engagement plan, and prepare a budget for the contract period.

Aug. 19

Attend an optional informational session

The neighborhoods team at NCR will be holding an optional informational session via Zoom at noon to talk through the application and answer any questions.

Submit your application and plan

Neighborhoods must complete their applications during this time to be eligible for funding. For questions or guidance, contact your neighborhood support specialist.

Deadline for submissions

The application for 2026-2028 funding and required attachments are due on this date. 

Nov. 15

Deadline for the City to request revisions to your plan

After you submit your application, the City will review it carefully. We will reach out to let you know the results. If needed, we will request any changes or additional information. You will have time to make revisions before moving to the next step.

Nov. 30

Deadline to submit your revised application and plan

Once you receive your application back from the City, send any requested revisions by this date.

Dec. 20

City sends contracts for your signature

Neighborhoods receive their contract for the 2026-2028 funding period. Read it carefully, ask us any questions, then sign and return it.
