Pennhurst South area ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades and resurfacing
The City upgraded pedestrian ramps to current ADA standards in 2024. The City will replace the pavement surface in 2025.

This project is part of the ongoing street maintenance program.
ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades
City staff completed the upgrading of pedestrian ramps to current ADA standards in 2024.
Resurfacing
City staff will resurface the streets in this area in 2025. We will replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street. The new pavement should last at least 10 years.

Schedule
- City staff begins mill and overlay work on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025.
- Select curb and gutter replacement work began the week of May 12th, 2025.
- City staff held a virtual public meeting on February 26th, 2025.
- City staff completed upgrading pedestrian ramps to ADA standards in 2024
Traffic impacts
The road closed to traffic in intervals during milling and paving work for periods of time. Roads will remain open during the evenings and nights.
