6th St. S. Reconstruction
The City will rebuild less than half a mile of 6th Street South, between Park Avenue and 13th Avenue South.
Project overview
The project is a full reconstruction. This will improve the street for everyone who uses it, including people going to:
- The stadium
- Offices
- Schools
- Homes
- Houses of worship
This work will involve the entire right-of-way, and will include:
- New sidewalks
- ADA pedestrian ramps
- Improved bike way
- New pavement, curb, and gutter
- Utility improvements
- Signal improvements, as needed
- New signage, as needed
- New pavement markings, as needed
