You will need:

• The gross weight of fireworks on display and stored on site.
• A packing list of on-site material.
• A copy of proof of insurance.
• A site map drawn to scale.
  • For in-store sales, show the location of the retail display and any stored products.
  • For transient sales, include the location of a locked shipping container for storage.
• If the property owner differs from the applicant, you need a copy of the lease agreement and written permission from the property owner.

• Mail it to Inspections Services

The permit fees are:

• $100 for retail stores
• $350 for transient/temporary locations, such as parking lots or tents 

You can pay:

• In person at the Minneapolis Service Center
• By mail
  • Make checks payable to the Minneapolis Finance Department.
