- Permit or facility closures
Pay the fee
Find your fee
Fees are based on hazard level of the site, which the inspector will tell you after the inspection.
Ways to pay
- Call our payment phone line
- In person at the Minneapolis Service Center
- By mail
- Make checks payable to the Minneapolis Finance Department.
About the payment phone line
- You can only pay by credit card over the phone.
- If you reach the voicemail during open hours, staff are currently assisting another caller.

Post the permit
You'll receive your permit in the mail after paying the fee. Post it inside the building where it's easy to see, such as near the door to the outside.
