Why we send notices online

Sometimes the law says we must send you important notices or documents. We’ll send these to you electronically unless you tell us not to.

What you’re agreeing to

By checking the box that says “I agree to use electronic records and signatures,” you agree to:

• Get all required notices and documents online
• Use electronic signatures
• Let us use the contact info you gave us

Getting copies

• You can download and print documents right after signing.
• If you want copies later, you can ask us.
• We may charge a fee based on the City of Minneapolis data policy.

Changing your Mind

You can switch to paper or email notices at any time.
Just know:

• It may slow things down
• You won’t be able to sign documents online anymore

Stop getting notices online

You can:

• Choose not to sign electronically and send us a paper version
• Or email us with your contact info and say you want to stop getting notices online

Updating your email

If your email changes, send us an email with:

• Your old and new email
• Full name
• Company name
• Job title
• License number
• Mailing address

Withdraw your consent

If you no longer want to get notices and documents electronically, you can:

• Choose not to sign a document during your signing session. Instead, you can print the paper version and drop it off at our office or send it by mail.

• Or, send us an email that includes your email address, full name, company name, job title, mailing address, City of Minneapolis license number, and phone number. Say in the email that you want to stop getting notices electronically.

You don’t need to give us any other information. Keep in mind that this may slow down the process.
