What to know

Definition

Grocery trucks sell groceries, meats, and other goods at parking lots located near:

  • Commercial
  • Industrial
  • High-density residential properties.

Written permission of the property owner or manager is required. No sales shall be made from any mobile food store on city streets, alleys, or public ways.

You must have permission from the business if you park within one hundred (100) feet of a licensed:

  • Grocery store
  • Farmers market

To submit this application, you must provide the following:

  • Completed application form
  • License fee
  • Certified food protection manager 
  • Background check
  • Copy of the menu
  • Completed food plan review form
  • Proof of liability insurance
