Community food distributions are humanitarian good give away events. They are not marketing events.

You need this permit if you are:

  • Only doing pop-up food distributions
  • A Minneapolis licensed food shelf also doing pop-up food distributions

You do not need this permit if you are a food shelf operating in a permanent location.

Instead, you need a food shelf license
